Root Removal

The biggest cause of blockages within drainage systems are tree roots and over time this can lead to structural damage causing the drain to leak. Most subsistence related problem can be attributed to leaking drains caused by root damage.

When roots are found to be the cause of a restriction, we have various methods available to restore flow for example high pressure water jetting or mechanical roots removal equipment for use within the pipe.

Repairing Root Damaged Drains

The section can be root cut and relined assuming that there are no major joint displacements or severe fracturing. Major displacements and severe fracturing or collapsed would require excavation.
